Dave Matthews Band will be performing at the historical Piedmont Park in Atlanta, Georgia on September 8th, 2007. The Allman Brothers Band will be joining DMB for this event. DMB is no stranger to benefit shows and have been giving back to charities for many years.

Piedmont Park is considered the focal point of the vibrant Midtown community of Atlanta. The park is home to various annual celebrations and events, including Atlanta Pride Festival, the Atlanta Jazz Festival and the Atlanta Dogwood Festival. Piedmont is considered the “Central Park” of Atlanta.

The event will raise funds for the 53-acre expansion of the Park. With an anticipated 50,000 fans, the benefit concert will be the largest show on Dave Matthews Band’s 2007 U.S. Tour.
