Stevie Nicks "Crash into Me" cover featured on Soundstage Sessions
Stevie Nicks of Fleetwood Mac will be releasing a live version of Dave Matthews Band song "Crash Into Me" on both CD and DVD. The performance comes from part of a PBS Soundstage performance which originally aired on television in two parts on July 17th and 24th 2008.
You may recall Dave Matthews Band being featured on PBS Soundstage as well. "Weekend on the Rocks" aired on November 24th, 2005 and featured performances from Red Rocks that spanned from September 9th-12th.
The Stevie Nicks CD entilted "The Soundstage Sessions", to be released on January 13th, 2008, will be highlights from the Soundstage shows, and will include "Crash into Me". The DVD entitled "Live in Chicago" will be released on March 19th, 2009 and will also include the DMB cover.
Stevie explains that she fell in love with "Crash into Me" years ago and always wanted to perform and record the song.

"Crash into Me" is arguably on of DMB's biggest hits and is a clear fan favorite. Crash peaked at #7 on Billboard's modern track chart in 1996. Dave Matthews has perform the song close to 600 times since 1995 (prior to it's official album release in 1996).
Stevie Nicks will embark on a tour with Fleetwood Mac in 2009, with an CD/DVD release, entitled "Unleashed" featuring previously unreleased material.
