American Express Exclusive: Dave Matthews and Chef John Besh

American Express cardmembers received an email today with an exclusive offer...an offer which includes a solo performance by Dave Matthews!

If you are an AE cardholder and a fan of good food and music, you can enjoy both at the Robert Mondavi Winery in Oakville, CA on November 13th, 2009.

American Express is offering cardmembers an exclusive offer: "Pairings" featuring Dave Matthews and Chef John Besh. This one-time event will feature a solo acoustic performance by Dave Matthews along with multi-course dinner prepared by Chef John Besh.

The theme seems to be derived by New Orleans. John Besh's cuisine for that evening will come from his new cookbook, My New Orleans and as we all know very well, DMB's latest album "Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King" was recorded in and is partly inspired by the city of New Orleans.

Tickets go on sale today at 3pm ET and are priced at $500 each. (limit 10 per cardholder) This American Express event is a tribute to the people of New Orleans and the cost of the ticket will go towards Dave's Foundation, the Horton Fund, which is part of the Charlottesville Albemarle Community Foundation with proceeds going to various charities.

Dave Matthews has "paired" with American Express in the past and is a cardmember himself. Dave was  featured in a television campaign for American Express last year and cardmembers have had an advantage at advance tickets to various shows.
