After a couple days of rehearsals at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, Dave Matthews Band have been preparing "You & Me" which they will be performing tonight at the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards. DMB will be accompanined by dozens of additional players, including singers, a string section, percussionists and eight horn players plucked from the Grammy in the Schools program, which will bring to life on a smaller scale what they did in the music video.

Dave Matthews says "There are no dancers, no stand-ins. We wanted everything live. There's such a freedom to that." "And it's a risk"

Dave Matthews Band have been nominated for Best Rock Album and Album of the Year. Dave told EW, “I think this is the best record the band has ever made, so it’s icing,” he said. “It’s cherry to be here. But it’s not going to change how I feel about the record.

While in Los Angeles, Dave Matthews attended the MusiCares event honoring Neil Young, whom he recently performed with at the Hope for Haiti Now telethon. Dave performed a cover of Neil's "The Needle and the Damage Done"

While at the Grammy rehearsals Dave took a moment to talk to CNN and shared his feeling on the Haiti disaster and their efforts to give back.
